I was explaining, yesterday, in Bible study, the two folds of salvation -- that is, justification and the imputation of Christ's Righteousness. I had not thought of them in the context of the Psalm. Actually, I'm finding as you go along, that I have not given much thought to this Psalm at all, because it is so familiar. Shame on me.
To me, this is the deepest of psalms, which like a worn stone in a riverbed, has few jagged edges for us to notice, so it we sentimentalize it. As I get older I see so much of the gospel of grace in every portion of Scripture. It is wondrous.
